JavaScript Job: Software Developer, Full Stack

As a Software Developer, Full Stack at Pixieset you'll have the opportunity to work on a product that is changing the game in the photography industry. In collaboration with the team, you'll design, develop, and deliver new product features reaching over 800,000 users worldwide. Your Impact

• Design, develop, and implement product features in PHP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Deliver everything from small front-end UX improvements, to broad structural changes spanning multiple codebases
• Help improve and maintain the Pixieset product and systems infrastructure
• Work with stakeholders to define requirements and collaborate with team members to identify and solve complex technical problems
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Research and integrate new technologies to drive the development process forward

Role Requirements
We are hiring Full Stack Software Developers for 3 of our development teams and requirements differ slightly based on the team.
C-Team & S-Team:

• 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Developer building custom web applications
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with PHP and preferably its frameworks (Laravel, Yii, or Symfony)
• Experience with Javascript and preferably jQuery, ES6, Webpack, Vue.js, React
• Experience with relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and Redis
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Familiar with basic data structures and algorithms

B-Team:

• 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Developer building custom web applications
• 1+ years of experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Yii, or Symfony)
• 2+ years of experience with Vue.js or 3+ years of experience with React
• Experience with ES6 and Webpack
• Experience with relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services
• Familiar with basic data structures and algorithms
